This impression die was made on our antique Janvier machine (c.1894) using the old school method of starting from a galvano. The galvano is from La Forge Bertrand from Paris, France.

This large cameo depicts the epic Art Nouveau model and her characteristic elegance. This is a wonderful depiction of an Alphonse Mucha decorative panel Byzantine head. His original works were created in the late 1800's featuring two women in profile with Byzantine inspired decorative jewelry, styled hair and a very ornate background.
