Class - Cloisonne Enamel on Copper - July 10th
Cloisonne Enamel on Copper Class - 10am to 3pm In-person class, 1949 E. Eastland St., Tucson, AZ 85719 Instructor: Sheryl Haupt Date: July 10th This class teaches students the fundamentals of cloisonne enamel. This technique traditionally is done on fine silver. But with the high price of silver, we will instead use copper sheet and wire to create a pair of earrings. You will decide on the shape and then using a jeweler's saw, remove the excess metal. The cloisonne wires will be used to create geometric shapes and then fired in place using a kiln. The enamel will be placed into the wires and fired to finish your design. If you prefer, you can make a pendant instead of earrings using the same technique. All materials and tools are included. See our cancellation policy below.
