Winged art nouveau woman sterling silver stamping

This is a sterling silver stamping of a woman's brooch or pendant which was made in Paris France in the early 1900s. This was carved by a toolmaker at La Forge Bertrand a company originally founded in 1803. Throughout the late 19th and early 20th centuries some of the worlds best artists came through the company out of the Beauxs arts school. Art nouveau styling is very highly represented in the La forge company history.
