Pancake Die 1972 Ornate Drop Ornament G

This bundle includes TWO pancake dies that together make a sweet little bird. PD 1873 creates the wing and PD 1872 creates the body/head. PD1873 Shape measurements: 2-1/16" x 15/16" PD1873 Die measurements: 5-1/2" x 3-3/4" PD1872 Shape Measurements: 3" x 1-3/8" PD1872 Die measurements: 4-15/16" x 6-1/8"

Design: 1-1/8" x 3". Die: 5-5/8" x 5-1/2".

Use this pancake die to cut two strips of metal (connected by a short tab that is easily removed with saw or shear). These strips, when soldered and formed round, create a pair of telescoping rings. Use the two rings as a lid and container for a poison ring, small container pendant, or just a teeny tiny box. Silver ring samples by Marriane Barton Jennings. Design: 2" x 1" Die: 6-1/2" x 3-3/8" Longer strip measures: 51mm long x 6mm wide and creates a 17mm (OD) diameter ring. Shorter strip measures: 44mm x 6mm wide and creates a 15mm (OD) diameter ring.. THIS SET IS INTENDED FOR USE WITH 20 GAUGE FULLY HARD Sheet if you want to make a fitted lid and container. If you use a different gauge the parts will not fit as well together. If your metal is not full hard it may become stuck in the die. If you would like to purchase a circle pancake die that fits well with these two rings, the 3/4” diameter and 5/8" diameter circles work well. If you would like to purchase a matching ring blank die, there are many that would work, but PD R16o works perfectly.
