Impression Die Woman with Sheepdog
This medallion depicts a woman wearing a chiton, a common manner of dress in ancient Greece and Rome. She holds a shield on her right hand and pets a dog with her right. The shield depicts an archer beside a star. Though the origin of this design is unknown, the woman might be Artemis, the Greek goddess of the hunt, and the man on her shield might be Orion.
Design: 1-3/8" diameter
This impression die is for use in making stampings with a hydraulic press. You will not receive the master hub pictured. You will receive an inverse impression with which you can make stampings. Additionally, if the master hub to make this product breaks during production, you will be refunded for the purchase of this product.
